I made my card for the daughter of my best friend – I ummed and arred about something a little older for her as she  turned 13, but opted for Henry in pinks & blues and kept my fingers crossed that it wasn’t too ‘Cutesy’. However, she absolutely loved it and I noticed that it’s the only birthday card still on the mantelpiece at her house!

Best Friends

Today is the start of a new challenge at Lili's Little Fairies and we want to see ‘Thank You’ cards. We have a fantastic sponsor this week!

At the risk of boring everyone, I have turned yet again to my trusty LOTV sketch pad and paper pad for my card and have coloured up Patch & Puss who are obviously the best of friends! Armed Forces Challenge at J & C Creations

Today is the start of a new challenge at J & C Creations and this month we want to see projects inspired by anything to do with the Armed Forces. There is a £20 J & C Creations voucher up for grabs to the lucky winner!

Well, I really panicked when I saw the theme for this challenge, no chance of cute ‘n’ cuddly, pink & frilly for this one, lol! I decided to go for browns & greens, but didn’t have a clue what image I would use and then Denise at J & C found this fantastic stamp set for me, talk about perfect! So, apart from my clouds being a little faint, I was really pleased how my tag came out!

We have such an easy challenge starting today at Passion For Promarkers, there really is no excuse not to join in – the theme is ‘Birthdays’ – I said it was easy didn’t I ? Let’s Rock!

It’s Sunday again and the start of a new challenge at Joanna Sheen. This fortnight the theme is ‘Music & Lyrics’ and as usual the prize is a fabulous £15 voucher to spend in the Joanna Sheen shop. 

I was sent the cutest decoupage ever featuring the oh so sweet House Mice who are having a rock concert down on the beach! I sold some of my cards recently and what else would I buy with the proceeds but some more crafty bits!! I splashed out on these sweet little Cheery Lynn tags and the gorgeous Spellbinders Borderabilities which really haven’t been done justice with my naff photos!

Little Boy Blue

I'd like to say thank you for all your lovely comments recently and to apologise for not having visited your blogs as much as I'd like. April and May are really busy months for me at work, throw in lots of family birthdays including my son's 17th (oh, gosh did I say 17?!!!!) among other things and there are just not enough hours in the day!
Today’s card was made just for fun for a change. I was inspired by the challenge at Here Come The Boys and it features yet another LOTV image! First DT card for Lili’s Little Fairies

I’m very excited about today’s card as it is my first DT card for Lili’s Little Fairies and I’d like to say thank you again to the girls for taking me on! We have a lovely challenge for you this week - ‘Lace’. That’s it, easy peasy, just add lace to your creation either real or faux and remember to use a LOTV image or topper.

I have a fair few LOTV stamps, but at the moment I have to confess to being in love with the ‘Jack, Patch & Puss’ sketch pad, so here is another gorgeous image coloured with my Promarkers. The lace has been in my stash for absolutely ever and I have no idea where it came from, but it seemed perfect for framing the image.

Hug A Friend Day – 26th April

Today's card is another one for the J & C Creations calendar. 

26th of April is celebrated each year to cherish the feelings of love and understanding among friends. 

Hug a friend day is rejoiced with enthusiasm and affection, especially among the youth. For those people who are in struggling phases of their lives, having piles of official work and other businesses, this day provides an excuse to let their old pals know that you still love and care for them. Think about the difference that a single hug would make to your friend’s day or even life, and go on to spend this commendable day with your friends. You don’t have to think hard to do something special to celebrate, just hug your friends.
